Your guide

Tom Mailey

Tom Mailey grew up fishing Puget Sound with his dad and older brother, and has fished Northern California waters for salmon and trout for over 30 years. After 32.5 years on the "Pat, Tom and Cody Show" on New Country 105.1 KNCI, he retired from radio in May 2025 to guide full-time, and we'll have every rod rigged and ready when you step aboard.

How we run our trips

  • Tackle, bait, rods and reels included

Every rod, reel, bait setup, and lure is rigged and waiting for you on the boat. Bring snacks, drinks, a cooler with ice to take your fillets home, and your fishing license, and we'll take care of the rest.

  • Small-group trips, kids & families welcome

We keep our groups small so there is plenty of room at the rail for first-time salmon anglers and families bringing the kids along as a cheering section. Children under 12 are always half price, and veterans and first responders get 20% off weekend trips.

  • Ultra light gear on board

We keep 7-foot ultra-light spinning rods rigged on board for anyone who wants the extra thrill of wrangling a Folsom Lake steelhead or king salmon on light tackle.

Any day on the water is a good one.
